Ava loves her Mom and Dad!

We decided to travel north for the July 4th weekend to visit our friends around the Twin Cities.  Ava had a great time meeting some of her new friends.  Thanks to Sam and Kiala for having us and throwing a great get-together with so many kids.  Also thanks to the Drake family for bringing up the twins!

We decided to make a trip to Des Moines to see our family over the weekend and celebrate cousin Ethan's 3rd birthday..  Ava had a great time hanging out with her cousins.  Sam and Ava are 1 day apart and are best buds already.  Ethan is a great supervisor too!

Well, it's been a while since we last posted. We've been busy learning how to be parents. As today is Father's Day, I thought it would be appropriate to start posting again so you all can see how big Avalyn is getting, and we can start giving updates on our progress on being good parents! ENJOY round #2!!!

This weekend we spent some time in Center Point with the entire family. Avalyn got to meet her new cousin Samuel Wesley Bjurstrom who was born the day after Avalyn! Here they are pictured together in family crib that has been past down for many generations. The crib originated in Germany and made it's way to the U.S. when our family crossed the seas to call America their home.

Avalyn Marie Chamberlin was born on August 5th, at 3:59 p.m. Both baby and mom are healthy! Thank you God for a healthy baby girl. She's perfect! She has already back to the weight she was born at too!
