This weekend we spent some time in Center Point with the entire family. Avalyn got to meet her new cousin Samuel Wesley Bjurstrom who was born the day after Avalyn! Here they are pictured together in family crib that has been past down for many generations. The crib originated in Germany and made it's way to the U.S. when our family crossed the seas to call America their home.

Avalyn Marie Chamberlin was born on August 5th, at 3:59 p.m. Both baby and mom are healthy! Thank you God for a healthy baby girl. She's perfect! She has already back to the weight she was born at too!

36 Weeks and our baby girl is still cookin'!!!

24 Weeks now. I got to feel her kick for the first time this week.

22 Weeks now and all is going well. Had our ultrasound and found out we're having a BABY GIRL!!!

19 Weeks now. Brooke can feel the baby moving. Hoping the little one is starting to hear the guitar when I play. All is going well so far!

Week #17 ... took a lot of pictures tonight. Baby has doubled in size in the last 2 weeks. Props to the mom for hookin up the enchiladas!

Our snowman won first prize in the Chamberlin family snowman competition. That's one bad looking snowbot. Happy birthday Dad!

We heard the heartbeat again today. Week 16 in the books. Brooke is feeling a lot better now. No more morning sickness. We're excited for the ultrasound next month. Boy or Girl?

Brooke and I are starting to work on the baby room. We picked out colors for the walls, and have a good idea for cribs. We have Americlean out today cleaning our vents, getting the home as clean as we can for the coming baby.

14 Weeks along today! Time is going fast, but not fast enough. We are axiously waiting for August 6th. Lots of things to get done before then, but looking forward to it all!

Brooke is 12 weeks along now and just starting to show the slightest baby bump!

Successful worship band practice tonight. Pastor Ray asked us to play the first two Sundays in February (Feb. 2nd and Feb. 9th). Looking forward to it already!

Beautiful western Iowa sunset after on a Friday afternoon drive to Sioux City to play music.

Heard the heartbeat today. It was awesome!

Doctor appointment tomorrow to hopefully hear the heartbeat. Anxious, nervous, having faith,

"The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps."
